Complaint Process
Most discrimination complaints filed with the Office of Human Rights (OHR) are settled or dismissed through a non-legal process known as mediation. If mediation fails, the OHR will conduct a full investigation of the alleged discrimination. (If probable cause for discrimination is found the Office of Human Rights will send the case to the Commission on Human Rights for adjudication.) Review the chart below to see the process on how to file a discrimination complaint with the Office of Human Rights.
